Alison Bagneschi

My interest in working with children with communication delays was sparked at an early age by my 3rd grade teacher who was working towards her masters in special education. For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to help others at the very heart of living; communication! My undergraduate and graduate speech-language pathology and audiology experiences helped me hone in on the area of autism spectrum disorders, specifically with the early learner population.  After over 20+ years of experience in a variety of settings this field is still without a doubt my passion and more than just a job for me. I was fortunate enough to join the TBH Herd in 2014 and share with them my love of working with the littles. My time at TBH has afforded me the opportunity to work with so many amazing professionals, families and children. My experiences thus far have helped shape me into the professional I am today yet what I also still strive to be. Everyday is a new opportunity for growth. I am grateful to TBH for believing in and supporting our “Shining Stars” infant-toddler program the way they do with the bonus of seeing so many of our little ones continue on in our early learner program and beyond. It is challenging for me to pick which guiding principle I identify with the most but would have to say I resonate the most with being who my clients need me to be. When I am not running around our center trying to keep up with the little ones and our HERD, I enjoy watching my 12 year-old daughter grow into the person she is meant to be, which includes a whole lot of softball on the weekends!
