Early Intervention Services
Trumpet Behavioral Health Autism Early Intervention Program
At Trumpet Behavioral Health, our behavioral and educational support services are based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This is a research-based approach, which uses well-established principles of learning to improve behavior. In fact, over 30 years of extensive scientific research has demonstrated that ABA is the most effective approach for treating children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as well as other behavioral and developmental disorders. There is also a strong body of evidence showing that early intervention is key to helping improve behavior.
Trumpet Behavioral Health Methods
Our early Intervention programs use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to teach children with autism age- and developmentally-appropriate language and learning skills. Children are taught based on their own unique needs in 1:1 or group settings with highly trained instructors in homes, community, healthcare and educational settings.
Our methods for early autism intervention programs include ABA principles such as:
- Verbal Behavior/discrete trials training
- Incidental teaching
- Positive behavior support
- Errorless teaching
- Fluency building
- Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS)
