Conquering Toilet Training: Learning Routine-Based Toilet Training
Toilet training is a challenge for all children with special needs and their parents, but routine-based toilet training can help. Trumpet Behavioral Health is offering a parent training event to provide practical advice on how to start toilet training.
As a national autism therapy provider, the Trumpet team uses applied behavior analysis (ABA) to help children become more independent in a variety of important skills, including toilet use.
Jessica Juanico, the speaker at the event, will highlight strategies to implement successful toilet training at home and in the community and will answer questions about potential roadblocks in the process. She will also provide the necessary materials to track progress with training.
Childcare, courtesy of Developmental Pathways, will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and will be limited to 20 children at the time of registration.
