Searching for an autism treatment provider can feel overwhelming – with so many options, it can feel difficult to determine a good fit for your child. At Trumpet Behavioral Health, we set ourselves apart through our commitment to supporting your entire family. Through workshops, resources, programs, and scheduled meetings, Trumpet offers sustained support for your entire family, focusing on you and your child with autism at all times.

Support From The Start

At Trumpet, we know that accessing autism services and determining your insurance benefits can feel like a real barrier for your family. To that end, we provide your family support by determining a good provider fit and assisting you with navigating the insurance process.

Finding The Right Autism Services Provider

We believe that finding the right autism services provider for your child is important. At Trumpet, we provide you information on how to evaluate ABA providers to find the best fit. And once you’ve made the decision to partner with Trumpet, we work with you along every step of the intake process. At the start of the assessment process, our clinicians provide you with information about what to expect once services begin, including initiation of ongoing parent training. You will also be able to access an online, self-paced parent training curriculum throughout your child’s autism treatment.

Determining Your Insurance Benefits

To support you in the intake process, Trumpet provides resources throughout the entire service cycle of treatment for your child, including a dedicated team of insurance professionals. This team works with your family to determine your insurance benefits and to help you access available avenues of funding for ABA treatment. And each year, Trumpet supports parents with the insurance renewal process and detailed information about changes in benefits that may occur.

Resources For Parents And Siblings

When you choose Trumpet as your child’s autism services provider, you will gain access to a network of autism professionals and resources. From the start, your child will be paired with one of our Board Certified Behavior Analysts. And because parent participation is a key factor in a successful ABA program, we incorporate family training and support as part of the treatment plan. A BCBA will meet with you at least twice monthly to teach helpful strategies that you can use outside of therapy sessions. Additionally, we have developed an online, self-paced curriculum for parents so that you can access important educational materials on your schedule.

Autism Parenting Workshops

We recognize that you and your family might need information on specific topics. To meet your family’s needs, Trumpet also offers workshops on common skills and problem behaviors you might encounter with your child, including:

In the event that there is not a training program currently offered in your service location, we have a robust online community at Trumpet. Our Facebook and other social media outlets are a great resource, offering quick tips and tricks on how to address a number of skills and behaviors. We can also connect you and your family with an autism parent support group, such as a community support group.

Support For Siblings

As part of our parent training program, Trumpet focuses on the entire family, often bringing in siblings to learn with parents and participate in therapy. In many locations, we offer family fun days, where our clients and siblings can come to our center for a day of activities and fun. Parents can stay and participate, or can take advantage of some time together, knowing their children are in safe hands. Additionally, our in-home ABA services allow us to incorporate siblings in your child’s treatment program. Siblings of kids with autism can be beneficial when working on social skills, effective communication, and appropriate play skills, and we are proud to provide sustained support for them and other family members.

Ongoing Support After Graduation

At Trumpet, we are excited to see your child grow and reach their goals, and we want to see them succeed even after graduating from our services. We provide your entire family with support and resources after your child graduates, including:

At Trumpet, we put our clients first – this is a key part of our core values. We provide quick and effective communication, offer access to all treatment plans and progress notes through our patient portal, and ensure that we build a rapport with your child with autism. At the end of the day, your child should be having fun – and so should your family members as they support and learn with your child along their treatment journey.
