As part of our behavioral support services for educators, Trumpet Behavioral Health helps teachers and other related professionals learn how to solve the challenging behaviors of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs).
Children and adolescents diagnosed with ASDs require unique treatment plans. Unfortunately, budget and staffing constraints, plus the complexity of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs), mean that few special education departments can ramp up fast enough with trained staff to address the quantity and the quality of interventions needed. Our in-school autism treatment plan for educators provides structured intervention for children for a third of the school day.
Trumpet Behavioral Health consults with school districts nationwide to provide supplemental on-site professional services for students on the autism spectrum. We also help special education teams design autism intervention programs and develop capacity.
Our team includes Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) consultants and experienced autism skills trainers who are thoroughly screened for their clinical, technical and interpersonal skills. Trumpet Behavioral Health can provide districts with on-site para educators and skilled clinicians who know how to address the unique concerns of a child or adolescent with autism. These skilled consultants work collaboratively with lead teachers and build educator confidence while reducing the stress of a challenging classroom dynamic.
To create an individualized autism behavioral program, our autism therapists conduct interviews, empirically-validated assessments, ongoing observations and collect data. At Trumpet Behavioral Health, we continually fine-tune our programs to ensure the best results are achieved.
